Why choose used OEM DAF parts from VRA Truckparts

DAF tractors are built for serious mileage, so when something does break it makes sense to repair the truck with genuine components. Used OEM DAF parts usually fit better than pattern alternatives, match existing brackets and wiring and help you keep factory ride, handling and fuel consumption. Our team dismantles complete DAF trucks and carefully removes valuable components rather than selling “unknown” breakers yard parts.

Every unit is visually inspected, function tested where possible and graded before it is added to stock. You can read more about how we check, clean and store each component on our dismantling and quality process page. This approach gives workshops and fleet engineers the balance they want between cost and reliability.

DAF trucks we typically dismantle

Most of our donors are modern Euro 5 and Euro 6 DAF tractors and rigids used on UK and European long-haul work. That includes popular XF and CF models in 4x2, 6x2 and 6x4 configurations, as well as newer generation vehicles where suitable. Trucks are bought complete, so we can document options such as cab type, suspension, axle layout and emissions package before stripping them for parts.

For a current overview of manufacturers and models being broken, including DAF alongside other European brands, visit the Trucks We Dismantle section. If you do not see your exact model listed, you can still get in touch as new stock arrives regularly.

What DAF parts you can find in this brand section

Cab, body and exterior

Body damage is common on hard-working tractors, so cab and exterior parts are a big part of our DAF range. You can often find doors and hinges, steps, bumpers, grills, corner panels, mudguards, mirrors, sunvisors, cab mounts and other trim pieces. For more practical tips on choosing used cab panels and exterior parts you can read our article How to choose used cab and exterior parts for MAN, DAF and Mercedes Actros.

Engine, cooling and exhaust

We stock selected MX-series engine components and ancillaries such as radiators, charge-air coolers, cooling fans, EGR coolers, exhaust pipes and after-treatment parts where condition allows. Each part listing shows the donor truck details so you can match Euro class, power rating and sometimes engine code before ordering.

Driveline, suspension and braking

To keep DAF tractors working safely we salvage axles, hubs, propshafts, suspension arms, air bags, shock absorbers, brake calipers, chambers, air tanks and associated hardware. These assemblies are ideal for accident repair, axle swaps or keeping older fleet units productive when new parts are hard to justify.

Interior, electronics and wiring

Inside the cab you will often find seats, dashboards and trims, steering wheels, switches, instrument clusters, heater controls, wiring looms and selected ECUs. Electronic parts are removed carefully with plugs intact wherever possible; please follow the fitting and programming guidance in each listing and, if needed, consult your diagnostic specialist.

How to check compatibility and place an order

Before you buy, make a note of your truck’s VIN, model, year, axle layout and Euro class. Our short guide How to find the right truck part explains which photos and numbers to compare so you can choose the correct DAF component first time. Once you are ready to go ahead, the steps on the How to Order page cover payment and communication.

Delivery options and transit times for pallets and parcels are outlined on the Delivery & Shipping page, and you can review our warranty and part condition terms if you are planning a larger purchase or buying for a customer. Together these resources make the DAF brand section a useful hub for keeping your fleet of Dutch-built workhorses running cost-effectively.
