What engines & components we stock

Our stock in the Engines & Components category changes as we dismantle more donor trucks, but typical items include:

  • complete engines from modern diesel trucks, usually supplied as long engines or with selected ancillaries, listed in the dedicated Complete Engines section;
  • engine mounts and motor mounts that isolate vibration between the engine and chassis, grouped under Motor Mounts;

Most engines and components we supply come from mainstream European heavy trucks such as Volvo FH/FM, MAN TGX/TGS, DAF XF/XG, Scania R/S and Mercedes-Benz Actros, Arocs and Atego. VRA Truckparts focuses on modern Euro 5–Euro 6 donor vehicles sourced in the UK and dismantled at our yard in Stanford-le-Hope, Essex, supplying tested used OEM parts to fleets, workshops and owner-drivers across the UK and EU.

Typical applications include replacing a failed complete engine on a high-mileage tractor unit, swapping damaged engine mounts after an accident, curing drivability issues by changing a faulty engine ECU, or repairing oil leaks and filler problems with genuine filler caps and necks. Using used OEM engines and components helps keep repair costs under control while maintaining the correct specifications for your trucks.

Tested used OEM engines & components from dismantled trucks

Before any engine or engine component is added to stock, it is removed carefully as part of our structured dismantling process. Complete engines are assessed for signs of catastrophic failure and, where possible, run and checked on the donor vehicle before removal. Engine mounts are inspected for splits, collapsed rubber and damage to brackets; ECUs and modules are checked for cracked housings, burnt pins and water ingress; smaller components are examined for stripped threads and broken fixings. Items that do not meet our standards are set aside rather than listed for sale.

Because all parts come directly from trucks we dismantle ourselves, we can usually provide donor information such as make, model, engine type, Euro class and recorded mileage, together with OEM part numbers and casting references shown in the photos. This transparency helps workshops and fleet operators match the correct engines and components to their vehicles and avoid compatibility issues.
