Description:
Used genuine Volvo/Continental VDO digital tachograph head unit removed from a Euro 6 Volvo heavy truck. The unit is clearly marked with Volvo part number 22076018 and Continental/VDO DTCO reference 1381.1232309007. This is a 24V digital tachograph designed for installation in the dashboard of late Volvo FH and FM series trucks, recording driver hours, speed and distance in accordance with EU regulations.

The tachograph was powered up and function checked on the vehicle before dismantling. Display, buttons and card slot operated correctly at the time of removal. Externally the casing shows typical cosmetic wear from use and handling, including surface marks on the galvanised body and light scuffs and label damage on the plastic front panel, but there are no cracks or damaged connectors. Condition is graded as B – fully operational with moderate cosmetic wear.

This DTCO unit is suitable for many Volvo FH4 and FM4 trucks built from around 2013 onwards using Euro 6 drivetrains. The tachograph operates on 24V electrical systems and is intended for installation in the dashboard DIN slot. After installation it must be coded, calibrated and sealed by an approved tachograph centre or Volvo dealer to your vehicle specification (VIN, tyre size, gearbox ratio, company data and driver cards). Internal memory, odometer and configuration from the donor truck should not be relied upon and will normally be reset or overwritten during calibration.
