This listing is for a used genuine MAN exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) valve assembly KS560124-48 (IAM 5846R232) complete with exhaust manifold section and electric actuator. It is fitted to MAN TGL, TGM, TGS and TGX trucks equipped with the D2676 series Euro 5/Euro 6 diesel engines and corresponds to OE reference numbers 51081506095, 51081506129 and 51081506143.

The unit combines the cast iron EGR manifold, integrated bypass passage and the 24V electronically controlled actuator. It mounts on the exhaust side of the engine and controls the quantity of exhaust gas recirculated back into the intake to reduce NOx emissions. The wiring plug and bracket shown in the photos are included, making it a direct replacement for a faulty original valve.

The part was removed from a running vehicle and checked for correct operation before dismantling. There were no stored EGR actuator fault codes at the time of removal. After removal the assembly was visually inspected; there is typical surface rust and soot on the exhaust casting and general oxidation on metal surfaces, but no visible cracks, broken lugs or welded repairs. The electrical connector and pins are intact and the actuator housing is not damaged. Due to the nature of EGR components, we recommend fitting with new gaskets and that the installer checks for software updates, adaptation or basic settings using MAN-compatible diagnostic equipment where required.
